Clearly diesels have a mental calm to them because they turn low RPM's and make towing feel effortless, there is no debate about it.
But people towing with gas motors seriously need to learn how to use their right foot and allow the motor to sing. I don't know why the majority fear engine RPM's.
And I have been known to tow at 75mph. My trailer tires are rated for much more, so that's not a factor. Stability, wind, straight line interstate, and no traffic is.
