I have to say that was my experience the first time I towed my 24' trailer(6200gvw) with my Duramax. Absolutely effortless. I towed for years with substantially less power and torque. But I also like all the other goodies, fabulous Allison Transmission with perfect ratios and no hunting, factory tow mirrors, factory brake control, factory exhaust brake. Literally, Plug and Play! And like I said before, everyone should tow for 5 years with a lesser powered vehicle as their apprenticeship! Yes I do tow at 75 when I'm out of CA and it is completely stable in wind. I slow down in rain of course.
