Once the iron is seasoned, clean up goes without any fuss. My 10" is my "pastry oven," and after baking a cake, I can wipe it out with a piece of burlap, rinse and dry. Exposure to aluminum is linked to early-onset dementia and I don't need any help becoming more demented. ;)
