Pear & Cherry Buckle
1 can (26 0z) cherry pie filling
1 can (29 oz) pear halves in syrup, cut into small pieces
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 box ( 18.25 oz) yellow cake mix
1 stick butter, cut into small pieces
1 packet (1.19 oz) maple & brown sugar instant oatmeal
1/4 cup sliced almonds
Spray 12" Dutch oven with Pam and set aside. In a large bowl, combine pie filling, pears with syrup and almond extract. Pour into Dutch oven. Sprinkle cake mix over fruit mixture. Dot with butter. In a small bowl, combine oatmeal packet and almonds. Sprinkle over cake mix. Cook for 60 minutes with 8 coals under and a complete ring on the lid.
