Dutchman popup with Goshen system lift

I purchased a used Dutchman yesterday and the top is stuck up in the front and the back is all the way down. The lift system is completely covered so I cannot see any cables except at both ends. How do I find the problem?

  • Cables at both ends?

On my system, the cables at the back end is around a pulley.
Adjusting the forward/backward position of the pulley levels
    the front to back problem.

I'd suggest that you only raise the system high enough to see the
difference between the front and rear and then make adjustments
    as necessary.

I checked the link on Goshen systems and they also make my system
for the 2010 Palomino Series campers. Mine happens to be a 2060 lift
    system model.

You might check-out this link and see if anything looks like what you have.

    GOSHEN LIFT SYSTEM DUTCHMAN 1993-2003

Working on the tops scares the "HECK" out of me. use some long 2X4 to support the roof in the up position until you can figure why the cables for each leg are not being pulled together...

    Be careful....
