The V10 Ford is one of the best if not arguably the best towing motor around. Yes, it is that good.
It's just a real good robust design that holds up VERY well.
A friend is a fleet mechanic that has a lot of buses that run this engine and most have over 250K long hard miles on the clock with very few problems.
In short, this engine is as good as the 6.0/6.4 is bad.
