All these women refusing to drive while towing are way smarter than all you men who are wishing they would. It's easier to make someone else do all the driving.
BUT if you want to be a competent and capable person, and dealing with trailers, you need to learn to drive and back up. Driving is not a big deal... don't cut the corners too sharp and look very very carefully before changing lanes.
Backing up I'm not so good at, but it's mainly a matter of practice. There are lots of videos online that are very helpful. My advice is to watch a bunch of them, find a big parking lot, take someone with you to help spot, and just start practicing.
