I'll just add this true story for those DW's that refuse to learn to drive a MH or Tow the TT.
When I was looking for a used DP I found the deal/steal of the century right in my home town. REAL nice DP AND the Toad was included!
Kids selling for parents who's father had just died.
I took it out once and then came back the next day to pay for it and had the pleasure of talking with the widowed wife.
She loved RV'ing. She really didn't want to sell it and she really regretted never learning how to drive it or know anything about the MH itself. And her kids where pressuring her to sell it.
Long story short.
I did NOT buy the MH. I spent the next month 'teaching' this lovely lady how to drive the MH. How to hook up the toad. Got her to join up with Escapees and their RV'ing solo club.
She is now back on the road by herself and enjoying the RV life!
Her kids hate me.
I lost out on real great deal.
BUT when she sends me pictures of her travels?
Well just priceless. :C
DH take the time to teach your DW's. DW's learn how, you never know what life will deal you.
