In my head I never say "dear wife" when I read "DW"....I hear "Da' Wife"

Here's a list of the more common and popular Acronyms and Abbreviations.

I was going to say the same thing about what the different four letter words that could go with the letter 'D'...

I personally don't like to use any of the acronyms...

We aren't really saving anything by using some sort of shorthand... Why not just type it out???

This almost qualifies as a sticky :)

One that I have always found funny is on brand specific forums - SOB = "some other brand" - other than the one the forum is centered around.

Not to mention DH!
Dumb husband comes to mind.
