Again, I know nothing about the brand/model and how they typically do anything. My point was that there is pressure in the cabinet which will force heat up, but also heat the cabinet area. Heat rises. Based on the power of my furnace and fan, directly connecting would put far too much heat in the cabover area. I’ve also noticed nonconnected hoses in basements of RVs.
Of course, I noticed that I’m on my own with these thoughts. :D It would be interesting to hear what Eagle Cap says.
Fwiw, my Host has zero heat vents in the cabover area, and we do just fine that way. The AC does direct to the cabover area.
