Electric jacks with remote make the install and removal process simple. It only gets complicated if you are on uneven ground. I can usually run the jacks from in the truck cab while backing under the camper. Removal is about twice as fast. My times average around 10-20 minutes including tie-downs. Go slow at first until you get practiced in the art. It is more critical to remember the steps in the proper sequence and not forget something like disconnecting the truck wire or tie-downs.
When shopping I considered manual jacks vs. electric and had no preference. After owning electric ones I will never have manuals, ever. Only if loading and unloading once per season or less would I ever settle for manuals. Too much hassle! Very similar to power trim tabs on larger boats -- once you have them you won't go without again!
