I changed out a defective faucet today and it took all of twenty minutes and no tools required 1. Turned off the electric switch at the water heater2. Shut off the water3. Unscrewed and disconnected both the hot and cold pipe connectors-BY HAND4. Unscrewed the large hold down faucet nuts - BY HAND and removed the old faucet unit5. Installed the new unit and reversed numbers 4,3,2, and 1Job done- no leaks and we are happy campers. I wonder what a RV repair tech or plumber would have charged ?Guy

Envious of your plumbing skill.....even the bucket that I use to wash vehicles with leaks, seriously. Every trap I've replaced leaks.I can wire a house and rebuild an engine but plumbing is my nemesis. Glad you got it fixed in timely fashion.

Uh-huh. I cut a hole and put in a marine access hatch. Still a pain to connect new faucet.

Yup ! Here I am snow birding for the next four months and have 90 percent of the tools I need with me.
Naturally the other day when I needed my multi meter it dawned on me I left it with my other electrical tester on my work bench where I had intended to pack it,
So I just ordered a el-cheapo one on Amazon that I'll leave here

Wish I could have changed the RV sink faucet without the wrench. Arms weren’t long enough and it was too tight.

Show up late, take long lunch and leave early, when you call you get voice mail. If you ask any questions the "tech" (term loosely used) will make a parts run and not return until the next day leaving everything unusable overnight. :B
