I have seen these type of suction hangers on several campers lately used for many items. On a smooth sided RV it could be very useful. A friend of ours strings them all the way down the side for her string of lights since she can't reach the awning on her class A

Wow great idea I can think of lots of ways to use them.

Yep - going to do this as well. Wet clothes and towels look silly on the awning support. Thanks!

This idea has tons of possibilities. It can be used for awning lights, mounting my thule table to side of camper,towel bar etc.

I have left this mod stuck to the camper for about a week. They held fast and pulled off cleanly without leaving any mark. I think the suction cups are made of vinyl not rubber so I'm pretty confident that they will not leave any residue on the camper. I would recommend, hewever, that you do a quick clean of the surface where you mount the suction cups. I just used a squirt of Windex

The little black discs don't leave any stain on the gelcoat or anything do they? That would be only concern about this fantastic idea!

Attn Moderator this would be great addition to "Handy Hints, Gadgets, Products & Gizmos" is there any way to incorporate threads like this into http://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/17436377/srt/pa/pging/1/page/1 or atleast into "Do It Yourself Modifications and Upgrades (DIY)" Makes it easier to find as time goes on.

I use them to hang one of these near my grill and stove. Lets me keep my tongs, spatulas, spoons, seasoning, paper towels, lighters, etc. all right there instead of running in and out when I need something.
