Easy on Wax??

Thanks, I had decided yesterday on the Meguires Marine based on other threads. You just convinced me that I made the right choice for me.

It's Mothers synthetic marine wax for me. It's good for a harsh marine environment and has to be good for RV use. I wipe it on and off and don't use a buffer. I use 303 Protectant on all the decals and plastic first.

I wish we had some kids in the 'hood to wash and wax our TT.

One hour seems reasonable with some of today's products and tools. 5th wheel has a bit more surface area and is taller, so you have to consider moving ladders which can take more time.

I'd quit my day job and detail rv's for a living if i could wax a 35ftr in less than an hour. You gotta be a little more realistic.

I apply wax with orbital polisher. Then put a dry pad on the orbital and lay a small microfiber towel over the pad. Use the orbital to power the towel and remove wax. Stop and reposition the pad on the towel now and then. Using this method you can wax a 35 ft trailer in less than an hour with no sore arms

You could do the whole thing in Aerospace 303. You just spray it on and wipe it off. I tried 303 on my fiberglass before, but it left some visible wipe marks on the tan fiberglass. If the trailer was lighter then you wouldn't see them. So now I just use the 303 on the decals and black trim and use Nu Finish on the body. Wipe it on them wipe it off. Removing it with a machine would be faster, but it's pretty easy to remove by hand.

I use the spray on turtle wax spray it on and wipe with a rag be careful not to get it on your windows. I smudges them but water will bead up and run off and it last a year no problem. I've used it on my aluminum and fiberglass campers the black streaks wipe right off and is easy to apply without buffing.

I wash it with barrett jackson wash and wax, then use ADAMS POLISHES H20 GUARD AND GLOSS super easy to use and lasts about 3 to 4 months. Thats all I use on my cars and trucks so i figure dwhy not use it on the camper too.
