Eco Boost Owners - Anyone using a Tow Tune?
Anyone using a tow tune from a company like 5-Star? If so, does it make a difference? Are you using 87 or 91 octane?

Yes, I run the 5* 87 tow tune all the time since 25k miles or so on my 2011 Eco. I have 52K miles now. I tow a 7500+ lbs toy hauler regularly. The tow tune makes a massive difference and it sucks going back to stock those rare times I have to (dealer service). I've had one issue with the truck - both exhaust gaskets blew out. It's possible that this is related to the tune, and it's possible it's not. I do know the exhaust manifold design is poor around the rear cylinders - not enough bolts adjacent to each other.
