- Other then what came with the truck I have been running 5W40 never understood the 5W30 spec. I also always let the dealer change it with a mopar filter so if any thing goes south I won't have any issues getting a new engine.

Don - Are there that many unsold 16 still on the lots? Only 3 within 50 miles according to the inventory search for my area. None are eco diesel either.

Sounds like your good to go... T6 is the oil I typically run.- My first Oil Change, I went with the Kendall Euro. But, thanks to GDE, I got the heads up on the spec change, and have been using the T6 since just before the change.
- Good to know. Starting the annual national tour and will need on the road oil change. Hopefully the pricing will now stabilize.

They are out there somewhere. As of 9/1 they had a 102 day supply. With $7,000+ incentives (the most of any manufacturer) they are down to 91 days.- I did the same thing in that I left the dealer do the first 9 oil changes for the purpose of dealer support for warranty. But I did secure a good price first as many dealers charged big for the Penn Euro. But even afterward I used it to 170,000 miles and had good oil analysis results. After which I switched to T6 for convenience and price and well Ram recognized it as meeting oil spec. Have 226,000 now and my oil analysis with it is also good.

Would love to see you post any Eco-D with $7,000+ incentives! The best I could find was a lift over 2016 at a dealer in S.Cal with the dealer giving $2,500 with FCA giving $2,500.
Locally the most off on 2016 (two of them) have $5,000 total incentives or rebates. Now non Eco-D's is another story but we are talking about the Eco-D on this post!
If I could find a 2017 with $7,000+ and my employee discount I would sell my 2015 and buy a new truck tomorrow! See what you can find for me would ya, Laramie loaded up 3.92 gears 4x4 crew cab and in the long bed with the four corner air suspension would work!

Yes, the original post is about the EcoDiesel but I understand his comment to say that he could find only 3 Rams within 50 miles and none were EcoDiesels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!- Actually I meet to quote you not him.
