That's about what all of the gas trucks pulling a big load get in these tests. But, most of the others are pedal on the floor part of the way. Don't remember what the diesels get. As ChuckE2009 says, Ecoboost means that it's economic until you use the boost. Then it is very not!
I'm retired, and was thinking about a new project vehicle a few weeks back. I was thinking about a '70s stepside truck with a decent motor in it. But then it occurred to me. I can't afford to put anything together that will be any faster than the Ecoboost truck I have. So much for that idea.
