Just a little more back ground on how Ram calculates MPG...
The ECM does not measure actual fuel flow. MPG is basically a show the computer puts on using canned info and inputs from the accelerator pedal position sensor, speed and eng RPM/boost (load).
If we were to do any modifications to the eng to make it get much worse or better mileage, the overhead would not reflect it and it would still put on the same "show".
