It appears to be within 200 lbs of the Hemi in the same configurations.
I looked it up after I posted, the diesel weights 50 lbs more than the 6.4 Hemi. Now the 6.7 Cummins is another story :E
The 6.4 Hemi isn't used in the 1500 truck in question.
Anyhow as BillyW says when we look at the engine package as it sits on the trucks suspension/axles the 3.0 diesel ,depending on truck configuration, weighs up to 200 lbs more than the 5.7 hemi and 450 lbs or so heavier that the 3.6 Pentastar gasser. These are Rams axle weight numbers from the Ram BodyBuilder Guide spec sheets and chage with the different truck selections.
The heavy little 3.0 diesel like its heavy bigger 6.7 diesel brother eats up payload.
I think Ram with this hi torque number diesel will have a 8k GVWR 5k RAWR to fill the void between the 10k GVWR 6200 RAWR 3/4 ton and the 6900 GVWR 3900 RAWR std duty 1500 truck. Thats a big jump in tow/haul numbers and right where folks that don't need a HD 3/4 ton truck need something. Look how popular Fords 8200/7700 package is with those smaller trailers.
The new bigger 6.4 Hemi in a 8k GVWR truck would also be a winner.
