Getting back to P. Dodgeboy's original comment, not everybody thinks the EcoBoost or the EcoDiesel can be run at full boost and full-fuelling forever. I certainly don't. Every truck/engine has it's limitations. And if you push them to their limits, they're bound to wear out faster. Luckily, not all our trips are going up the slope they used in this test.
Dodgyboy is just wrong on that point anyhow. An engine that has 360 hp can run at 65% of it's full output doing the same work that seemingly magical (if he's to be believed) eco diesel will do with 240hp.
