They only estimated what it would cost to repair a steel bodied truck. Why didn't they take a hammer to a 2014 model and take it to the same shop for repairs? Then we would have a more accurate comparison. And $60 per hour shop labor rate? That's cheap compared to the average shop rate in my area of $80+ or any work performed.
Why did they have to estimate? Too lazy to just call a parts desk ? It has already been posted all over the web that the part is the same cost 2014 and 2015 .
Repair cost are nothing NOTHING compared to bodily injuries,that is what insurance companies are interested in and what they will pass on to customers.
