We use the 1500WATT OIL-FILLED Electric heaters all the time in our trailers. These are probably the most SAFE heater to leave on over night due to their NO VISBLE HEAT CORES of flames. They are also very quiet in operation and only go CLICk every now and then...
Love this low profile oil-filled 1500WATT Heater

We use the 20AMP SERVICE at the camp ground pedestal with a good extension cord when we can which gives us plenty of power to run the 1500WATT Heaters and does not pull from our 30AMP connection... We also use the Pedestal 20AMP service for all things outside when camping.
The propane heater works great but is just to noisy for us with its 12VDC blower setup. Wakes me up every time it kicks in. It also eats up alot of propane over night... We have ours set for a very low temp setting and is used only as a backup heater...
In our OFF-ROAD POPUP camper the on-board propane heater is way to hot for us to use with our small floorplan. That unit will run us completely out of our trailer if left on... Very seldom turn it on...
