Love the oil filled radiant heaters - they are virtually silent and the safest type of portable electric heater since the heat is spread out across the surface area. The downside is they are slow to get going so using the furnace or a ceramic blower/heater is usually needed to get things going.
RV furnaces are a must for dry camping but I generally do anything I can to avoid using mine. Noisy, constant on/off, hauling propane around (and possibly running out in the night) are all pretty big negatives to me.
