Electric stabilizers
I have a 2012 Wildwood 26tbss. It came with Lippert Electic Stabilizers. I an wondering is it better to extend them down as far as possible or block them up and keep them as close to the frame as poss...

There you go, however instead of bolting, weld it to the outside of the leg - whole length is not necessary, maybe just half way to the frame and to the ground would be enough. This is a simply supported beam with a loint load nominally at mid span. Max deflection is in way of the strut.
As for the bolts - I am not surprised that the bolts are fine. It woudl take a lot more load to shear the bolts than to buckle the arm so guess which one will fail first. ;)
