Electric Stabilizers

We have electric stabilizers on our trailer and only had it out once. That one time we were not on level ground and one side of the jacks hit the ground but the other side didn't. We tried putting something under it, but didn't have the perfect height for both jacks to hit the surface evenly. Hope I'm making sense. This electric stabilizer is new to me and I figure I'll run into a lot of these situations.

There has to be something I'm not doing right.
  • My Lippert electric stabilizer jacks automatically adjust. One side hits, the other side keeps going until they both have sufficient pressure to push up a little on the frame.
  • Mine rarely touch the ground at the same time. I carry an assortment of 1/4", 3/4" and 1 1/2" wood with me to even it out.

  • Are you carrying 4x6 blocks to put on the ground under the jack? I carry these and always place at least one under each jack. The last place we stayed, I had to use 3 blocks under one side and one on the other.
