We were in the process of unhitching the trailer after camping and the motor started to run very slow and then quit altogether. The jack was an Ultrafab 3500 and the emergency crank was almost impossible to use as it hit the LP tanks. So we pulled the hitch pin to release the hitch. At least we made it home before it quit.
Rather than trouble shoot the motor problem I ordered the Husky Brute 4500, it arrived in two days. The installation went very smooth. What a difference, the Husky is so quiet and smooth compared to the Ultrafab. My vote went to the Husky because of the ball and screw drive and the price wasn't too bad either. I tried the emergency crank and it worked without any interference with the LP tanks.
