- myredracerExplorer IIBeen a few days...
What became of this adventure? Find a replacement, still stuck or what? Hope it worked out well in the end. - jc1843ExplorerI have the Husky 4500 -- don't go for a light one, when the heavy duty is only a few dollars more. I did have to enlarge the hole in the tongue a little.
- West_Coast_CanuExplorerI have a Atwood 3500 lb on my TT that the dealer replaced under warranty, my previous one was a 2500. Now it cranks up and down a lot quicker. Very happy with it.

I've got the Barker 3500 hi-power and love it and, there customer service is top notch!
Ditto and I have been using one since the early 90's now and moved it from my old trailer to my current one in 2007. That's over 25 years use and only had one failure about 3 years ago from bad switches and parts from Barker were readily available and very reasonably $$$ wise with CS top notch also. Added pleasant surprise was I could actually understand the CS folks that were U.S. based and not overseas.

Getting tired of cranking, decided to go with an electric jack. What does everyone recommend in the 3,000 or 3,500 lb range?

Be aware that some are rather noisy (like ours) and some are nice and quiet. Nothing worse than waking up your neighbors when breaking camp early in the morning... I think Husky is a quiet one but not 100% sure.
The Husky is VERY quiet. Much quieter than any other I've used or heard. But it's still noisy enough that in a quiet campground it'll probably be heard by anyone awake or possibly wake a light sleeper.
The Husky really is that much better than anything else I've tried. Including the Barker it replaced. I'm pretty impressed with it. - jmcgsdExplorerAnother vote for Atwood. I purchased mine from Amazon. Uses the same mechanism as on my truck camper jacks. I've had three truck campers with Atwood power jacks and they've performed flawlessly. My current TC is 20 years old and the jacks work fine.
Remember on a TC there are four jacks, one at each corner, and typically they will be each lifting 1000+ lbs. - atreisExplorerBarker are the best. Many others also work.
