A few questions:
1. How many miles per charge?
2. How long to recharge?
3. When on the road, where the heck do they expect you recharge it? Your RV genny? Wouldn't that sort of be counter-productive?
4. Or is it merely intended to be a grocery getter, and if so, why bother making it a truck?
Not all trucks are used for RV duty or grocery getting. Some actually serve their original intended purpose: WORK.
If you need a truck to run across town between the supply house and the work site/shop, carrying bulky items, for example. - It will be longer than you think. Model X is not due out for at least another year. Next planned will be the Model E in 2016 or 2017. I figure an additional two years for a truck.

Therein lies the rub; until those questions get answered the Tesla electric truck may as well be a Unicorn. - dbearExplorerA few questions:

Boy that's ugly, IMO. Why would it need 6 wheels? - I would be looking for a truck that could do 50 to 100 electric miles before the gas kicks on. Also have the electric to help get up the hills and recapture energy on the way down. Around town as a grocery getter it could be all electric. Unfortunately I don't think that is what Tesla will build but maybe inspire Toyota/Ford/GM. And of course recharging at a campsite would be sweet ;)
