Electric truck - tow vehicle of future ?

I say stick with clean diesel and just put more development into the converting all this plastic that this throw away generation creates into diesel or oil. Kill two birds with one stone. It can be done, but governments are pouring more subsidies into electric since that is the current "politically correct" thing to do.
