Interesting article about an electric Class 7 truck . Begs the question, are electric powered heavy duty pickups...ready for HD towing service... far behind ? Range right now is somewhat limite...

Plug-in hybrid truck with 75 to 150 miles range would really work well.
All electric for daily driver and commuting. Saves the gas/diesel for long distance and hauling heavy. With electric boost the engines could be half the size we have today and still have more power to get up the mountains.
