Electric truck - tow vehicle of future ?

I think over the road commercial trucking using electric vehicles will be decided just on economics. This is not the same with personal vehicles which have a lot to do with performance and the driving experience not to mention the low maintenance and ridiculously cheap cost of driving. That's why many EV manufacturers, (Tesla included) encourage two or three day test drives. Drive an electric vehicle for a few days and it is real hard going back to a klunky ICE vehicle. You are kinda ruined after that. But with commercial vehicles it is not about that, so when they make economic sense companies will switch.
