Drive an electric vehicle for a few days and it is real hard going back to a klunky ICE vehicle. You are kinda ruined after that.
I would beg to differ on that. There is just something about driving a Corvette with the top removed on a nice spring day. The feeling you get shifting through the gears on a scenic winding road hearing that V8 roar as you gain rpms coming out of a corner is just something that an electric vehicle will not replace. But hey, to each their own.
Well, I hear ya. Former trans am owner etc. But a few years ago we took our first EV for a drive and kinda really really liked it. Now both are vehicles are electric and I am always amazed at how clunky ICE vehicles feel now. We have also got hypersensitive to exhaust fumes not to mention our garage doesn't smell like a, well, garage anymore.
But yah I hear what you are saying. If you want to really see something depressing go to a drag strip and watch the Teslas knock off half million dollar lamborghinis in the quarter mile. 7 passenger complete with kid seats and cup holders handing lamborghinis and Ferraris their assets...and all in total silence...and a five star safety rating. Ouch
