Interesting article about an electric Class 7 truck . Begs the question, are electric powered heavy duty pickups...ready for HD towing service... far behind ? Range right now is somewhat limite...

Heh heh. Both our electric vehicles have by law an artificial sound projected forward from a speaker so that people can hear it coming but it cuts out at 30 KMH. Our one car kinda sounds like a silon warrior from Battlestar galactica. The other is kind of a higher pitched whiny whistle. I know some people disable them but they don't really bother us.
I think there is an aftermarket company that has a bunch of manufacturers car sounds you can add to your Tesla. I imagine it would be kinda funny to see a Tesla and hear the sound of a Ferrari. :)
