Agree and love the new magnets of today...but they are not ready for TV's or even full sized just yet...
Maybe with liquid cooling, but another hurdle to be solved. My solid state compressor IP would be perfect supplying cyro level liquids, but not many OEMs would consider that just yet...they won't understand super conductors and the lossless that brings...
Interviewed with Tesla and had an argument with the hiring scientist...knew not the right fit for me at that time...he did crash his plane and got killed in that accident...soon after the fired most of the design crew and tossed the transmission (of which the basis for part of that argument).
The current flooded liquid cooling is an off-shoot of my IP...but not at cyro levels. Mine was sprayed, but over kill for automotive at this stage. Once they move to a higher level of thermal rejection requirements...then it would make sense
