I used a diesel generator for all my alternating current electrical needs in my house. I am not mandated to connect to a power grid.
Ya... no I didn't - power utility kw hours are substantially cheaper...
But if I had been "mandated" to use grid power I would have been all mad - they are making me ...
BUT - AAA did a BEV study and one result was BEV is not less expensive over I think it was 5 years than an efficient on board combustion vehicle.
