That is great that you store all that fuel. For the rest they have none as the fuel stations need electricity for the pumps to operate. So EV or gas is all about the same unless you have a stockpile.
Not exactly. Many truck stops have back up generators which is another plus for diesel owners. Not big enough to charge cars, but big enough to keep the pumps on and business running. The generators are generally out by the diesel pumps behind a fence.
If you zoom in on this pin at a T/A truck stop in satellite mode, you will see the generator.

Also, during Harvey, they were selling gas straight from the tankers at the small gas stations since many were without power for weeks and relied on small generators.
