I can't imagine why red is illegal in a generator. Yes if you get mandated into an EV you may need to buy another generator.
It depends on the state. Some do, some don't.
I live in Texas where there are not a lot of progressives that like to use law to force their ideology down other peoples throat regardless if they can afford it or not. Well, it happens in some of the cities like Austin, but it is not state wide. Also, our pollution is not as bad as southern California since we have more land and less people.
BEV's is not the best for everything just like ICE is not the best for everything. You need both since they have their pros/cons and especially so if the carbon to fuel technology becomes more prevalent to pay for reducing the carbon that is already in the air. However, the progressives are just too narcissistic to realize that and believe their idea of forcing BEV's on everyone is lthe only way.
That's is a serious messed up regulation if you cannot use off road fuel in all off road equipment in Texas.
Shiner did say some state! I don't think Texas is one of them. Washington red fuel in off road is no an issue....UNLESS it's high sulfer, then it's an issue in cruise ships that come thru here. They have to have low sulpher in Wa state burning, the can use high sulpher once north into Canada and I believe Alaska, since that where most go to and from during summer months.
Red vs clear is mostly all low sulpher in pumps.....generally speaking mind you.
