You are assuming companies do not have back up power generators. Many places like hospitals, large grocery stores, hotels, data centers, call centers, schools, factories, and so on have back up power generators. I used to work on the power gen side of Cummins for a short while and you would be surprised how many companies have back up generators or a mobile unit that can be used if needed.
