As for your question, I’m not sure why you would think the supply trucks would have to be Electric. What’s wrong with diesel. Diesel and gas will continue to play a role in the future. Just not a great fuel for personal vehicles in many cases and of course use of these fuels will decline in the future. There are about 5000 vehicles per day hitting the roads with no gas tanks, exhaust systyms, spark plugs etc. The fuel make up of the world fleet is changing a little every day. No panaceas. No one size fits all. And technology marches on. Many EV drivers would not want to go back to the inconvenience of liquid fueled vehicles after getting used to fueling at home.

Because this thread is about a government entity forcing people to use a certain kind of vehicle so I am assuming that said government entity would use them too. It would be a little tyrannical of a government to use ICE vehicles when mandating that the people can't. A government entity mandating one type of vehicle is their way of saying that one size fits all.
