Wow. Just took a gander at cars.com. Looks like you can get a used 2017 Nissan Leaf S for around 9 grand without about 10 percent battery degradation. (100 miles of range or do). Used 2012’s are dirt cheap, around 4500 but they had smaller batteries and had heat issues. But then again, a new batterie is 5500 installed (plus tax). I’d still get the 2017. More options.
