There is no mandate to trade in a 20 year old truck. Why are you personally concerned? Truck is in full compliance with all emissions laws and has always been tested when required. This has nothing to do with a CA mandate to manufacturers to produce zero emission vehicles that no one is required to buy. No one is forcing anyone to buy a zero emission vehicle. Why are you compelled to think all old vehicles should be traded? You even state many people cannot afford the newest vehicles.
When I do buy it will be a low or no emissions vehicle and I am very happy CA is mandating these vehicles to be available.
Why do you hate a zero emission vehicles? You are sounding more restrictive and over bearing than the mandate. As if you actually want it more stringent and less choices.
