Why do you hate a zero emission vehicles? You are sounding more restrictive and over bearing than the mandate. As if you actually want it more stringent and less choices.
It is just a bit hypocritical of being okay with mandating others to buy low emissions vehicle when you yourself are not putting your money where your mouth is and doing all you can to have a low emissions vehicle as well. Just like it is hypocritical to tout Tesla's low emissions and turn around and praise SpaceX even though they lobbied to keep emissions out of the commercial space act so they can make more money. Just pointing out the hypocrisies is all.
