I suppose if you were going to park it long term at site with 50A available it might make sense. You wouldn't have to keep filling propane tanks. However, if you're going to go from here to there and then somewhere else it could be an issue. When we full timed in the motorhome we were able to get 50A service maybe 75% of the time. It usually came with an increased nightly cost. Of course, we had all the usual propane appliances in addition to the 50A service so even with only 30A service we were still able to use the stove, water heater and refer on gas and just switched them to electric when available.
