electrical service size (amperage)

The trailer has the upgraded 15k BTU AC and convection micro (not sure if that's higher wattage). The description of the trailer says that the inverter size is 55 amp... does that mean it has a 50 amp service size or is the inverter amperage immaterial to the AC service size.
Stupid question I know and I'm sure I could find out with a call to the dealership. I was just wondering what y'all thought.
