When you get to your first campground, and are setting up, don't be afraid to ask fellow campers any questions. Look for a site that seems pretty organized and such. Those are usually the ones that have been at it for a while and can walk you through things.
Have your wife help you back into your spot. If you haven't already, get some cheap walkie talkies so you don't have to decipher whether the flailing arms mean "stop" or "there's a bee".
