It sounds like the fire allowed some wires to be crossed or open. An open neutral with two legs of power will swing wildly in voltage. Yes, you could suffer some damage but your 12v devices should be OK unless, from some very wierd occurance your converter spiked a lot of voltage through them. 120V devices are at the mercy of the swinging voltage and are suspect to damage.
As was mentioned contact your insurance company. You're not going to be called as an expert witness and the CG's insurance company will want to close matters as quickly as possible. Your role in this is to document what was working, it's age, and the damage received. Tell them your Rolex stopped. It will all come out in the wash.
