  • Sorry double post.Flatulent brain in full operation this morning.
  • R-Vision and quality do not go in the same sentence,I speak from experience.Of the many RV's I have owned over the years they were the bottom of the list. Not just mine,I spent enough time at the dealers back shop to view and hear what went on.Sadly the jobs that were lost, again not the employees fault. All management.
  • years back I stopped at the "new" Monaco plant as I wanted to look at one unit that I couldn't find at the dealer's I had visited. the twit at the desk said that they didn't have any RVs on hand. I asked her what all those big white boxes on wheels were in the various parking lots around the building. no answer. I didn't buy a Monaco.

  • There is a difference between cheap and not doing things correctly during the build. I have seen to many campers from the same factory, making the same camper and things are not built to the same standard. Just my .02 but all in all I hate to see people lose their job.
  • Evidently someone was NOT listening, back when ASV bought Monaco. They announced then that they would cease ALL operations in the Elkhart area and move the entire operation to Decatur. this is only new news to the media and employees that had their head stuck in the sand......
  • Perhaps this is a good example where so many complain about the "quality" of campers being so cheep but those same people who complain are not willing to pay the price for a higher quality camper. Monaco RV's are not cheep, but they are, what some would call "quality". Quite obviously, those folks who complain about the "lack of quality" are not willing to pay the price for it, causing this company, who do just that, are forced to close down, probably due to low sales.
