Emergency water heater help

Thank you old biscuit. Have everything working now. Main problem was just being a newbie. By turning on my electric to the water heater, the water got hot enough that it would not allow the propane to act. That is why the red light stop coming on because it would not fire. I clean the burner Orifice and drained all the water out of the tank and refilled with cold water and then the propane worked. It is working fine now. As a matter of fact, I am running purely on my propane right now. I hope others can learn from my newbie mistakes.
