Emissions check engine light on 2013 Chevy 3500 Duramax?

Same thing happened to me in New Mexico. Everything worked fine except the light. Got to a dealer and he put the scanner on it. He said that I had probably shut it off while it was in the regen mode. He erased the code and it has never come on again.
