I did not even think of the benefits of keeping the trailer components clean. With an open underside do you have to clean it often?

When was the last time you cleaned the underside of your car?
Well each time I take my truck through the "car" wash the underside is sprayed with the same cleaning and rinsing agents as the rest of the vehicle. However, this isn't suitable for cleaning the underside of a travel trailer and frankly I've never seen the need for it, 'though I do own a power washer that would do the job nicely. This spring our trailer will be 3 yrs old so I plan to pick a nice day and wire brush the frame, then spray paint whatever I can get to so perhaps I'll power wash it first - which will be easy to do as almost all of it is exposed and not hidden by an underbelly. :)
